Chapter one is on Land Right and Land Use in Akwa lbom State. This chapter may as well be seen as referring to Nigeria as a whole but using Akwa Ibom State as a microcosm. It explores the traditional and explains the contemporary significance of land, its contribution to national development and assesses the sufficiency of the extant legal framework.
