FOREWORD
This position paper, the sixth in the series is entitled ‘Combating the Menace of Examination Malpractice in Nigeria” . ‘It arose out of a concern by the Science Teachers Association of Nigeria (STAN) to contribute its quota towards the ways and means of dealing with the vexed issue of examination malpractice. The view of STAN has always been that all stakeholders in the education enterprise should be involved in tackling educational problems.
It is the hope of the Association that government will take a critical look at the paper and articulate modalities for ensuring the ?ill implementation of the recommendations.
STAN is grateful to members of the team for a job well done. We are also indebted to WAEC and Professor Uduogie Ivowi for their assistance.
It is with delight that I commend this paper to all education professionals as well as the general public.
