ABSTRACT
This study examined the implementation of continuous assessment in a Nigerian university using the opinions of undergraduates. Forty-eight (48) students returned duly completed University Continuous Assessment Questionnaire (UCAQ). The consensus opinion of respondents-were obtained using measures of central tendency. Results showed, among others, that take home assignment and class tests were the most popular methods used -by lecturers for raising continuous assessment scores at a ridiculously low frequency and that results are rarely used for diagnosis of students learning difficulties and guidance.
