This article discusses the implementation and use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the Nigerian Post-primary education system as a measure of bridging the existing gap between the Nigerian
educational system and that of the developed world. The paper focuses on the current status of ICT implementation in Nigerian post-primary institutions and highlights the challenges. Recommendations are made which will enhance and ensure a successful implementation and use of ICT in Nigerian post-primary institutions as a facilitator of effective and efficient lesson delivery such that the current educational con tent can be aligned with that of the global system for technological development and advancement.
