In view of the fact that, in all post-conflict situations, women are mostly
affected, it is inevitable and logical that they should play a central role in reconstruction and accountability, translating words into action, and finally women’s role in reconstruction programmes. Therefore, the paper will examine women and post—conflict situation, post conflict: rehabilitation , reconstruction: and accountability lasting words into action, and finally, women’s role in reconstruction: the Rwanda experience.
